big ups from tokyo
i am in tokyo, japan now. it has been a lot of fun. on the 10th it was just a rest day and yoshie and i went out to dinner. nice and simple.
to start the day we went to the sesouji shrine. it was beautiful. tokyo is dry.
we then had some yakisoba noodles (only 3usd) that were quite cheap for tokyo.
the park was nice also, but i had much fun at electronic city (akihabara). when we got off the subway there were these girls are dressed up so fanboys go crazy and get their pics taken with them. yoshie and i did not find a cute enough one to get picture with. next time! we played video games there and walked around the biggest electronic stores. so big i can not explain. i want these new computers here. it is a tv and fast computer. i also got the yummy lemon beer. it is crazy strong (7%) and cheap. my other hand is gas, like helium that makes your voice weird.
but last nite was so much fun! we partied in super downtown tokyo, in the shibuya district. the restaurant we went to was 12usd for all the alcohol you can drink for 1.5hrs. that was cheap, but it was 16usd a person to eat a little big of food.
we are now staying at anri's house. she is a fashion designer for a jeans company. she gave yoshie all these jeans that are the only ones in the world! lucky her.
tonite we will go out again, i will get pictures of the city.

ok... thats hilarious. on the 12th we went to seosiji temple (if its the one in asakusa... looks like it) and we were actually in shibuya on the 11th. walking around there and harajuku...
still given the crazy head cold i came down with on the flight from bangkok to tokyo i doubt id have been as much fun. but then lemon beer may be the perfect thing for getting drunk and curing a cold...
